In mid-February 2024, ACTION S.A. invested in the pomocedlaseniora.pl shop - a market leader in the sale of items for the elderly, people with disabilities and their carers. The shop offers more than 3,000 products. These range from simple gadgets to make everyday life easier for those in need to advanced medical devices.
Investment in the pomocedlaseniora.pl shop of PDS CARE Sp. z o.o. will allow ACTION S.A. to expand and diversify its offer and strengthen the B2C segment in the sales structure, as well as increase the share of high-margin products.
Demand for products for seniors is steadily increasing due to demographic changes and the lengthening average age in the European Union. According to the forecasts of the Central Statistical Office (CSO), in Poland alone, by 2050, people 60 + will account for 40 per cent of the entire population, which means almost 14 million people. So as we can see, this trend will intensify, and with it the needs specific to this age group will grow. That is why I think that our investment in the pomocedlaseniora.pl shop is promising and offers a chance for growth, says Piotr Bieliński, President of the Management Board of ACTION S.A.
