On 29 September, ACTION S.A. Capital Group presented its financial results for the first half of 2023. This was another reporting period in which the multi-industry distributor, e-commerce provider and advanced business solutions provider recorded a high margin of 8.73 per cent and an increase in customers in the retail segment to 411,000 compared to 243,000 in the same period of 2022. The company generated sales revenues of PLN 1,146,273 thousand in the first half of 2023, which were 2.78 per cent higher than in the same period last year, and a net profit of PLN 14,431 thousand.
Development of direct e-commerce sales through own projects and selected auction platforms in Poland as well as cooperation with foreign partners are the main business areas of ACTION S.A.. It is noteworthy that in the first half of 2023, the company's own online shops were joined by e-store bron.pl, whose controlling stake was acquired by the company. As can be seen, ACTION S.A.'s wide-ranging activities in the e-commerce domain combined with strong own brands and the company's development towards the distribution of advanced solutions guarantee a stable and efficient business, which is also financially independent, as the Company does not use bank loans.
Our task is to adapt the company to the current demanding realities of the retail market so that it is profitable and grows. On the other hand, the high competition, the influx of goods from almost all over the world and the increases in the prices of business services make this task a huge challenge, which always further motivates us to act. This is why we are developing our e-commerce projects, as well as new brands in non-IT segments. In the first half of 2023, the Enterprise B2B segment of the ACTION Business Centre division developed very well, winning many new customers thanks to the expansion of its offer and cooperation with an increasingly wide range of enterprise manufacturers. Supporting the development of this business segment at ACTION S.A. is a wide range of training courses that fit in with the market needs of the partners.
