In early October, a gala event to celebrate 20 years of cooperation between the Polish distributor, the American IT manufacturer and partner companies was held in the EVA Park Life & SPA conference centre in the spa town of Konstancin-Jeziorna near Warsaw. The event, organized by Action in the luxurious hotel set in the very heart of the magnificent Spa Park, was attended by top management of Western Digital – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hard disc drives for business and consumer solutions – and representatives of twenty key partners, who together with Action have been building the business of selling Western Digital products to end consumers for the last 20 years.
Our cooperation with Western Digital and our partners is a case of exemplary collaboration in the distribution channel where each element has its own clear role and knows which part of the business they are responsible for. The core tenets of the manufacturer-distributor-partner cooperation are trust and the will to create new value within this triangle, which together have helped us over the last 20 years to become leaders in the distribution market in our region. As part of the anniversary celebrations, representatives of Western Digital and Action held meetings with each partner to discuss the current market situation in Poland and gather their insights to inform future actions. During the evening gala, Nigel Edwards, Vice-President EMEAI Sales at Western Digital, handed over to Sławomir Harazin, Vice-President of the Board of ACTION S.A., a special statuette to commemorate the 20 years of collaboration between the companies.
It is fantastic to meet the Action team and our partners to celebrate together the 20 years of our successful cooperation. Although in the last year and a half we were prevented from seeing each other in person, the relations we have built together over the years have proven strong. Not only can we do good business together to deliver excellent products and services to our customers but also we know how to celebrate our success together.
